What do you do at Stan Sherlock Associates?

I am a Customer Consultant for the Yorkshire Building Society and a member of the Business support team. I assist customers with their accounts and enquiries and help the rest of the team where I can.

What do you enjoy most about being a member of the business support team?

I enjoy creating relationships with our customers and being able to help them with their banking. We have regular customers that I get to see time and time again. It's great to hear about their lives and what's been happening since their last visit. I'm a real team player too so love being part of a team that collaboratively helps each other.

What has surprised you the most about working in Financial Services?

Having no background in finance I was surprised to find that it's not just about numbers. I have found its about helping people, in the now and planning for future. We help people look after their loved ones. I don't think I realised how much emotion there is in financial planning.

Errr No they would probably say stubborn, controlling (especially my children), and caring.

If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs—such as food and water—were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?

My family as they are everything to me. Music so we could dance on the beach.

If you could choose any superpower, what would you choose and why?

To be like Cinderella and have others do all my cleaning and cooking, what a dream.

I can assist you with your daily banking needs and can put you in touch with other members of the team who can help you with a wide range of services.I will always endeavour to help you no matter what you need assistance with.
