Apprentice Customer Consultant


Full Description of Position

This role is a customer-facing role. You would be one of the first people our clients hear or see. You will be expected to build a good rapport with a client and know how to make them feel looked after.

With development, training and support you will be expected to:

  • Understand our filing and saving system
  • Use our scanners
  • Receive and document incoming and outgoing post
  • Pay money in and out of our clients' accounts
  • Open and close accounts
  • Open and close the YBS and SSA office
  • Update YBS pass books
  • Answer the phone in a professional manner
  • Contact clients on behalf of our advisers
  • Input adviser appointments
  • Deal with clients face to face
We expect a high level of service for all our clients, quality advice, and professional patience.


Salary
£10,500 per annum (salary increases with responsibility and ability).

Working Week
35 hours per week. Monday to Friday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Qualifications Gained
Training to be provided and expected Apprenticeship duration.

Level 3 Business Administration 18-24 months

Skills Required

This is an entry-level position, and therefore no experience is required. However, the following is preferred:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications required
  • Experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience delivering excellent customer service.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • A keen interest in improving and building on current successful systems.
  • Experience working on different Microsoft applications such as Teams, Excel, Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to effectively carry out instructions and follow a process
  • Ability to work using your own initiative
